Lemon Bars

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour
1/3 cup ground pecans
a dash of salt

1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 T lemon zest
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
2 T flour

Directions
Heat oven to 350, and grease an 8x8 in. pan.
Mix top ingredients together to form a dough, and press this evenly into the bottom of the pan.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and cool (but its ok if it doesn't cool).

While crust is baking, steal a couple of nice lemons from a neighbor's lemon tree.
Combine sugar and eggs, add in zest, lemon juice and flour. Pour into baked crust and bake for another 20 minutes. Let cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and devour.

Marinated then Grilled Steak

Ingredients
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 T honey
2 T vinegar
1/2 tsp diced ginger
1 tsp diced garlic
1/2 cup olive oil

sirloin steak

Directions
Combine everything except for the steak in a blender.
Marinate the steak in the mixture for at least 6 hours.
Grill 6 minutes per side, or until the meat reaches your desired level of cooked.

Chewy Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cups butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 T vanilla
1 egg plus 1 yolk
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips


Directions
Preheat oven to 325
°F and grease a large cookie sheet
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars, add vanilla and eggs, beat until creamy.
Mix in dry ingredients until blended, lastly add in chocolate chips.

For fantastic and enormous cookies place 1/4 cup scoops of cookie dough 3 inches apart.

Bake for 15 minutes or so.
