Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 T flour
1 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

1 single shell pie crust

Directions
Preheat oven to 350
°F
In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy and stir in melted butter. Add sugars, and flour, lastly stir in milk, vanilla and pecans.
Pour mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 10 minutes at 400
°F, reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for another 35 minutes.

Pizza Pizza!

Here is a mix to make a few pizzas or bread sticks.

Ingredients
6 cups of flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/8 cup sugar
1 T salt
5 tsp baking powder

Directions
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and store in a plastic bag until ready to use.

When you are ready to make pizza dough to bake or freeze, continue reading.

Ingredients
1 cup warm water
1 1/4 tsp yeast
3 cups of dough mix
2 T olive oil

Directions

Mix water and yeast in a bowl and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Add dough mix and oil, kneading to form a smooth dough. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover to rise for an hour.
Deflate and roll out onto the pan, top with the ingredients of your choice. (Or deflate, place in a bag, and freeze.)
Bake for 12 minutes at 400
°F.

Kung Pao! Chicken

Ingredients
1 lb chicken meat, chopped
2 T white wine
4 T soy sauce
2 T sesame oil
3 T cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 dash of hot sauce
4 T brown sugar

1 onion, chopped
2 peppers, chopped
1 cup of mushrooms, chopped
1 cup snow peas
1 cup bean sprouts
1/2 cup peanuts or cashews

Directions
In a large frying pan over medium heat, combine chicken through brown sugar. Add the vegetables to the pan and cook until chicken is fully cooked and vegetables are soft.

Serve over rice or lo mein noodles.

Maple Baked Pork Ribs

Ingredients
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, diced
1 onion, diced
4 lbs pork ribs

Directions
Combine the soy sauce, maple syrup, brown sugar, garlic and onion in a large bowl, add ribs and toss to cover. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours.

Heat oven to 350
°F.
Arrange ribs in a baking dish, pour marinade over top and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes, remove to turn ribs over, re-cover and bake for 45 more minutes.
Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes uncovered.
